The Oregon Trail Center
has need of our out reach talents.  If any members would care to demonstrate a skill or talent , contact your 2nd Vice Captain.

The annual Tri-County Convention will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 in Thayne, Wyoming. Please contact your camp captain for times and travel arrangements.  There will be a $5 charge for lunch following the convention.

The combined closing social for all Bear Lake County camps will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Montpelier LDS Stake Center at 1 p.m.  This will take the place of your May meetings.

DUP BEAR LAKE COMPANY 2004 HONOREES

Catch the Vision of DUP

These three Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Dayle Mattson, Mary Windley Camp, Annona Sparks, Margaret Van Orman Camp and Nina Weaver, Twin Creeks Camp were honored at the Tri County Convention, hosed by Lincoln County, in Osmond, Wyoming on May 15th.

They were honored by the Bear Lake Company for service and leadership in their various camps.

 

Pat Wilde Scholarship, Katie Boehme

Katie Boehme is the recipient of the $500 Pat Wilde Scholarship, Lorene Roberts, DUP company president announced. This is the second year that the DUP has donated the scholarship to a deserving graduate of Bear Lake High School.

Boehme is the daughter of Robert and Yvonne Boehme of Geneva. She will continue her eduation this fall at BYU-Idaho.

 

Keith Martindale Honored

Local broadcaster Keith Martindale was honored by the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Bear Lake Company, July 14th.

Martindale was chosen to receive the organization's lifetime achievement recognition for his service to Bear Lake Valley for over 38 years as morning announcer and owner-operator of radio station KVSI, AM 1450.

 

2004 DUP Queen, Brenda Roberts

Brenda Roberts was chosen by the the Bear Lake Daughters of the Utah Pioneers to represent them as their Royal Princess.

Roberts participated in the 4th of July Parade, the Bear Lake County Parade and various other DUP functions.

Roberts is the daughter of Shane and Shauna Roberts who reside in Liberty.

She will continue her education at BYU-Idaho.
